It is important to LR Health & Beauty to always act in compliance with all requirements (legal, regulatory, contractual or other) and to reduce potential legal risks in all areas of the company. Our aim is to create a respectful, open-minded and tolerant environment in which people with different backgrounds and views can work together successfully.

The foundation for all activities of the LR Group is therefore our LR Code of Conduct, which addresses the following topics, among others: equal treatment & equal opportunities, confidentiality & protection of business, property and assets, fair competition & regulations in international business, prevention of bribery, corruption, money laundering or conflicts of interest.


02_Compliance

LR has established a Compliance Management System (CMS) for this purpose in the interests of a compliant and respectful way of working. A CMS refers to all measures, structures, processes, responsibilities and systems implemented in the company with the aim of ensuring compliance with regulations. It ensures that the company does not violate laws or internal guidelines by providing the necessary conditions, tools and resources. A successful CMS continuously identifies corporate risks and works with the specialist departments to develop countermeasures to prevent or reduce risks.



Chief Compliance Officer & Compliance Committee

The Compliance Committee, consisting of the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO), the Regional Compliance Delegates (RCDs) and the department heads, is responsible for compliance management. The Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) reports directly to the Management Board of LR Health & Beauty. The CCO is also a member of the Professional Association of Compliance Managers and discusses current issues with other compliance managers. The Regional Compliance Delegates (RCD) support the Chief Compliance Officer with regard to the compliance of the international LR sales companies.

Taking into account the latest developments, the Compliance Committee regularly reviews the functioning of the Compliance Management System (CMS) and systematically reduces the causes of internal compliance violations. The Compliance Committee also strengthens the awareness of all company employees to critically examine their own actions.

The Compliance Committee meets with the Management Board several times a year to discuss current compliance issues and initiate any necessary adjustments. It also submits an annual risk report to the Supervisory Board.


TÜV-certified Compliance Management System (CMS)

Our Compliance Management System has been certified by TÜV Rheinland. TÜV Rheinland has thus confirmed that we have established and implemented an effective compliance management system to fulfill the legal and official regulations and requirements arising from our business activities.


Whistleblower System

LR has set up a Whistleblower System in which potential misconduct, grievances and violations of the law or internal guidelines can be reported – anonymously if necessary. The whistleblower system is an important part of our compliance initiatives and helps to maintain a legally compliant corporate culture. The early and low-threshold recording of information allows potential risks to be identified before they develop into major challenges. In this way, we take proactive measures to prevent damage to the company, our employees, customers, sales partners and suppliers.


Dealing with violations

Violations of laws, the LR Code of Conduct or other internal guidelines will be penalized accordingly, depending on their severity and repetition.


Advertising statements

LR Health & Beauty attaches great importance to the accuracy and completeness of the information provided on food supplements and cosmetics. In doing so, we naturally comply with the relevant legal regulations, such as the Health Claims Regulation, the Food Information Regulation, the Cosmetics

Regulation and competition law. We expect the same from our sales partners. You are required to use only the product information and materials provided by LR.

Many of our sales partners talk about their personal experiences with LR products on the communication channels. We would like to draw your attention to the fact that health claims are only permitted within the legal framework. If we become aware of any unlawful statements, we will investigate them rigorously. We reserve the right to take further action in the event of violations.


Freedom of expression

Our corporate philosophy attaches great importance to creating a respectful, open-minded and tolerant environment in which people with different backgrounds and views can work together productively. That is what we are committed to!

The right to freedom of expression is enshrined in the Basic Law. We take this fundamental right seriously and do not comment on the private opinions of sales partners or employees. We expressly point out that private opinions expressed by our sales partners or employees do not represent the official position of the company and may even differ significantly from our own opinion in individual cases.
